1. Who we are

SoulShift AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the SoulShift AI web application available at soulshift.ai. We provide an AI-powered manifestation coaching platform to help users achieve personal growth goals. For privacy questions contact info@soulshiftai.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use our service:

• Account information — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
• Journal entries and reflections — the text you write inside the app, including morning rituals, night reflections, intentions, and affirmations.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, session length, and interaction events to improve the product.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We store only your subscription status and plan; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Device and technical data — browser type, IP address, time zone, and similar technical identifiers collected automatically.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and personalise the SoulShift AI service.
• To generate AI-powered insights, affirmations, and manifestation plans using your journal content.
• To process subscription payments and manage your account.
• To send transactional messages (account confirmations, password resets).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To improve and develop new features through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

4. AI processing of your content

Journal entries and other content you write may be sent to OpenAI’s API to generate personalised insights and affirmations. We transmit only the content necessary for each request. We do not use your personal journal content to train AI models. Please review OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data submitted via the API.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers — OpenAI (AI generation), Stripe (payments), Firebase/Google (authentication), and our hosting provider — all under contractual data-protection obligations.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to users.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data and journal entries for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format).

8. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Analytics, where enabled, are limited to aggregated, privacy-preserving event data.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, HTTP-only session cookies, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
